Monday 7th September 2020
Today, the priority was final preparations for the reopening of school.
New parents to see.
All systems go!
Cycling reduced today… but every mile counts!
Tuesday 8th September 2020
Worth reminding everyone of all the support from firms who have helped with resourcing the Charity bike ride as well as maintaining my bikes!
Apart from Arcmaster and Jobes Cycles, my sincere thanks to HMP Everthorpe for their support, Hull City Council.
Also, always comforting to receive encouraging messages and gifts.
Wednesday 9th September 2020
chools reopen…a new dawn beckons!
Children already asking when they can join me again on the Charity Bike Challenge!….great enthusiasm
Thursday 10th September 2020
Medieval history seen across the corn fields as I travel through the villages east of Hull.
So peaceful…no one on the roads so early in the morning.
Just imagine all the history this grand old church has been part of through the centuries.
Friday 11th September 2020
’These animals may bite’…surely not!
But as I cycle around so early in the mornings – often half asleep – I need to watch where I’m cycling in order to avoid the hundreds of early morning creatures just taking their time crossing the country lanes!
Saturday 12th September 2020
Another early morning journey to the foreshore between Hessle and North Ferriby.
Beautiful…long ride but worth it!
Sunday 13th September 2020
A dash to the Cowden area. Nhsy (the cuddly NHS Lionheart) continues to join me on all my journeys.
This week a steady 64 miles, raising the total to 3,476 miles altogether.
