St Andrew’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers, governors and visitors to share in this commitment.
All adults entering our school are asked to be alert and report to the Head teacher any issues of concern regarding health and safety, risk assessment, child protection or any other safeguarding issue.
Helpers and visitors will need to have confirmation of an appropriate police check. All adults need to be aware of child protection procedures before helping in school or on trips. (See policies section of the website.)
Meetings for parents of new admissions to the Reception Class are held in the Summer Term, Open Evenings are held termly and other appointments can be made by telephone. Home visits are arranged for parents of children new to the school. Parents interested in bringing their children to St Andrew’s should contact the Headteacher or the School Office in the first instance.
Details of Open Days can be obtained from the School Office.
